Singapore16 July 2018 – Financial PR (“FPR” or “the Group”), Singapore’s leading Investor Relations agency has made a major move into the provision of digital services.

The Group has penned an agreement with digital platform provider FINFO to introduce a number of software applications to its’ client base.

FINFO is an Asia Pacific based digital solutions business that allows listed companies to manage all their investor relations communications on one platform. Its software as a service platform was built to help listed companies to better manage their investor relations communications. Following its official launch in Singapore in April 2018, FINFO intends to expand its platform in Australia and Malaysia later this month.

Commenting on the Group’s latest development, Kathy Zhang, Chairwoman and Founder of Financial PR said, “The dynamics of the investor relations function is changing with a shift towards increasing investor demand for digital, real-time market information. Our collaboration with FINFO will allow us to provide our clients with a holistic way of engaging with their investor base. Companies may use FINFO applications to proactively reach out to investors while the platform provides deep insights into market sentiment and data, allowing companies to have a more holistic approach in understanding shareholder concerns. Furthermore, companies will be able to track what is being said about them on social and mainstream media, allowing them to join in the conversation to address market concerns immediately.”

Ms Zhang added, “at FPR we have always tried to ensure we give our clients the best support and tools to enhance their market value. This transformative collaboration is a next step in helping our clients achieve their objectives.”

The Co-Founder of FINFO John Neal commented, “this agreement with Financial PR marks a major milestone for the company. We have admired their leadership from afar as an IR services agency in Singapore and around the region. To partner with them is something we are very proud of.”

Financial PR and FINFO both agree that the digital space has become increasingly vital in giving companies better tools to reach out to all classes of investors. Consequently, active online engagement will in turn give investors quality and timely information they need to make informed investment decisions.

In addition, both agree that the transformation to digital for investor relations has lagged behind other professions and is overdue for a shakeup.
